The Outlook is the first thorough analysis of institutional market in Italy and describes developments in individual sectors with an assessment of the key factors shaping those developments. This work is important for asset managers who want to operate in the Italian market and is a useful tool to support them in the budget estimate. July's issue of the Outlook is usually focused on Social Security segment (Pension Funds and Social Security Agencies); it provides structure and size of each segment, and analyses market concentration. The Outlook studies movable and real estate portfolios and provides indications on legal and regulatory evolutions for the reference market. When available, it discloses data on assets under management as well as on the rankings of asset management firms for each segment.
November's issue pays more attention to the sector of Banking Foundations. In particular, the composition of their financial instruments (apart from the holdings) are deeply analysed, and directly managed financial instruments are separated from outsourced management.
